Sam Smith dating music video extra

British soul sensation Sam Smith has struck up a romance with one of the extras featured in his new music video.

The Stay With Me hitmaker recently filmed the promo for his latest single, Like I Can, and he ended up leaving the set with more than just a completed video.

In an interview with the U.K.'s The Sun newspaper, Smith divulges about his new man, "It's very early days. I'm talking very, very, very early days. But he's really sweet... he was one of 20 extras.

"It's a surreal thing to be talking about because I haven't even confirmed with him that we're officially seeing each other."
