Ronda Rousey honors Marine Corps Ball date

Furious 7 star Ronda Rousey shook off the disappointment of losing her UFC bantamweight title on Friday (11Dec15) to attend the Marine Corps Ball with a lucky fan.

Lance Corporal Jarrod Haschert reached out to the fighter-turned-actress and invited her to the ball, and Ronda honored her commitment and flew out to North Carolina on Friday morning to prepare for her big night.

And she was the big hit she likes to dish out on her opponents, posing for pictures with her date and his pals - and the night out seemed to cheer her up a month after her crushing defeat at the hands of Australian Holly Holm.

A rematch is being planned for next summer (16).
