Rihanna's team creates pinata of singer for Boss Appreciation Day
Rihanna has joked about firing all of her staff members after they created a giant pinata in the R&B star's likeness for America's Boss Appreciation Day.
The Work hitmaker shared images of the giant head, complete with Rihanna's new dreadlocks, on Instagram on Tuesday (18Oct16), as her Fenty Corp. team celebrated the unofficial holiday with the tongue-in-cheek prank.
The candy-stuffed pinata was placed on a chair by a desk.
The singer captioned the shot, "When you don't show up to the
office for #BossAppreciationDay #TheCorp #FentyCorp #pinata
#FiredThemAll (sic)".
However, her workers made it clear the pinata was all in good fun
as they also had silver balloons set up, spelling out the word
'Boss', surrounded by red hearts.
"I (love) my employees!" Rihanna captioned the second snap.
The cheeky pop superstar previously enjoyed a laugh with her team
last year (15) by creating a fake Employee Handbook, which featured
a string of crazy rules, including one about vacation days and
limiting sick days.
"Each employee will receive 104 personal days. They are called
Saturday & Sunday," it read, before continuing: "We will no longer
accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness. If you are able
to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work."
