Rihanna launches beauty and styling management agency
Singer Rihanna has launched a beauty and styling agency in Los Angeles.
The Umbrella star has teamed up with her managing partner Benoit Demouy to create Fr8me, a service aimed at helping makeup artists and hair and clothing stylists book work in commercials, editorial shoots and ad campaigns and at red carpet events.
"Hair, makeup and styling play an important role in creativity,"
she tells The Hollywood Reporter. "I am very involved with that
part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to
do."
Agents at the company currently manage Rihanna's longtime makeup
artist Mylah Morales, Taraji P. Henson's wardrobe stylist Jason
Bolden and hairstylists Patricia Morales and Marcia Hamilton.
"We are lucky enough to have some of the best artists at Fr8me, but
I also have a soft spot for finding new talent with extraordinary
skills," she adds.
In addition to the artist's agency, the 27 year old has also
launched photo agency A Dog Ate My Homework.
Rihanna is no stranger to the worlds of beauty and fashion - she
has a makeup line with MAC cosmetics, multiple clothing lines and
perfumes and she is the creative director of sports apparel brand
Puma and sock company Stance.
