Ray J 'hospitalised' after Billboard Music Awards

Whitney Houston's former on/off boyfriend Ray J was hospitalized the morning after the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (20May12).

The singer is said to be extremely upset following an alleged confrontation with Houston's family at the prizegiving and was found to be "out of it" and at his hotel the next day (21May12), according to TMZ.com.

The producer is said to have been disoriented and was immediately taken to hospital in an ambulance.

It is understood the star is suffering from a combination of exhaustion and stress following a 32-hour round trip to China and a four-hour car ride to Las Vegas for the awards.

A representative tells GossipCop.com the star has been working extremely hard, adding, "He did a concert in China and has a business deal he's working on over there."
