Rapper Shad Moss' fiance suffers miscarriage

Rapper/actor Shad Moss's fiance Erica Mena is hoping to help other women struggling after miscarriages by opening up about her grief and loss.

The reality star took to Instagram.com on Thursday (17Sep15) to share a poem about the tragedy of losing a baby, revealing she was four months pregnant at the time.

She wrote, "So quickly you came into my life. So quickly torn away. Never got the chance to meet you. There's so much I want to say. Where time once was joy and happiness. Is now sadness, guilt, and pain. All these thoughts running through my head. It's enough to drive me insane."

The poem continues, "Though you lived in me for only 4 months. You were loved so very much. I wish that I could hold you. I long to feel your touch. On that day. My world was ripped from under my feet I pray that in another life. We get the chance to meet."

Her touching tribute to the child she lost was met with praise and support online, and fans began sharing stories about their own ordeals.

Mena tells GlobalGrind.com, "I know it was hard for me, so I felt the need to speak. I know the guilt you tend to feel as a woman and I just wanted to speak to help any other female who might be in that very position."

Mena did not reveal when she suffered the miscarriage, but she began dating 28-year-old Moss last year (14).
