Rachel McAdams becomes a stockbroker for charity
Actress Rachel Mcadams manned the phones on a trading floor in her native Toronto, Canada to raise money for charity.
The Canadian star returned to her hometown to take part in the CIBC Miracle Day on Wednesday (02Dec15), selling stocks at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) to generate cash for good causes.
Pictures of Rachel answering phones were posted on the bank's
Twitter.com page, and during the event she presented a $75,000
donation to her chosen charity, Nanny Angel Network, on behalf of
CIBC.
"It's incredible," she told Entertainment Tonight Canada.
"Everybody's come together and there's so much money being raised.
I'm so happy that Nanny Angel Network is going to get great funds
to move forward."
Nanny Angel Network provides in-home care to help mothers who have
been diagnosed with cancer.
