Production on Keeping Up with the Kardashians has not been halted
A network representative at E! has dismissed reports suggesting production on reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been shut down until at least next year (17).
Filming first stalled back in October (16) after Kim Kardashian became the victim of an armed robbery in Paris, France, during which she was bound, gagged and held at gunpoint while thieves stole jewelry and cell phones.
At the time, a spokesperson for the E! network said show bosses
were focusing on her wellbeing and hadn't decide when production
would resume, but it was reported Kim was filming the show a few
weeks later when she attended her husband Kanye West's concert at
The Forum in Inglewood, California with her sister Kourtney and
close friend Jonathan Cheban.
However, a report from editors at TMZ indicated the family has not
shot any new footage since the robbery and the show wouldn't return
until 2017.
A spokesperson for E! is now denying the reports, telling the New
York Post's Page Six, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians is currently
in production and has not been halted."
In addition to dealing with the affects from the armed robbery, Kim
has also been at Kanye's side following his hospitalization on 21
November (16).
Kanye went to the hospital freely for a psychiatric evaluation
after suffering "temporary psychosis due to sleep deprivation and
dehydration" his doctor Dr. Michael Farzam reportedly told
emergency services.
The reality star has been sleeping at the hospital.
"Kim acts very concerned," an insider said. "She says he has yet to
be diagnosed, but she uses words like paranoia and explained that
Kanye thinks everyone is out to get him.
"Kim does spend hours with Kanye every day... Kim says that not
much has changed since he was admitted and that his doctors seem
concerned."
