Police probe Carly Rae Jepsen photo hack
Police in Canada have launched an investigation after pop star Carly Rae Jepsen was allegedly targeted by a hacker.
The Canadian singer recently filed a report claiming a cyber-crook had illegally accessed her computer and stolen "electronic property", believed to be personal pictures, according to TMZ.com.
Officials at the Vancouver Police Department have confirmed they
have launched an investigation, telling the website they are
focusing on the alleged theft of "electronic property belonging to
Jepsen".
The news is the latest setback for the Call Me Maybe star after she
was recently forced to deny being featured in a sex tape which
emerged on the Internet. She branded the rumours "ridiculous" and
insisted the girl in the film was "obviously not me."
