Pitbull lands TV and digital producing deal

Rapper Pitbull has inked a new deal to create and produce original content for TV production company Endemol North America.

The Timber hitmaker and his manager Charles Chavez will serve as executive producers for the content they develop under the new partnership. He has also landed his own channel on upcoming online network Endemol Beyond.

The rap star says, "I'm excited and looking forward to making history. We share the same passion and vision to bring our culture and life experiences to the world. For us, content is king, culture is everything and generation is power. We have the content, the culture and we're building a generation. So get ready to buckle up."

This isn't Pitbull's first foray into television - he has previously executive produced and written two episodes of his reality show La Esquina.
