Paris Jackson makes desperate plea for contact with grandmother Katherine

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has taken to Twitter.com in a bid to get in touch with her grandmother Katherine, insisting "something is really off" because she hasn't spoken to the family matriarch in more than a week.

A younger member of the Jackson family reported Katherine Jackson missing over the weekend (21Jul12) after she failed to keep in touch with her grandchildren during a break with her daughter Rebbie in Arizona.

Jermaine Jackson insisted his mother is "fine" but police carried out an investigation after his niece Paris and Katherine's attorney challenged his version of events on Sunday (22Jul12).

Officials in Pima County confirmed on Monday (23Jul12) that Katherine is okay after speaking to her, but Paris has yet to be in contact with her grandmother - and she desperately wants to speak to her.

In a post on her Twitter.com page on Monday night, she writes, "8 days and counting. Something is really off, this isn't like her at all ... I wanna talk directly to my grandmother!!"

Her cousin Tito Joe Jackson, son of Tito Jackson, has added further mystery to the family drama by replying to her tweet: "I know it's completely unfair for them to do this to you and your brothers. We will keep trying. I love you."

Paris' plea for contact comes amid reports Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies visited the Jackson family home in Calabasas and took a battery report after a disturbance was reported.

Police spokesman Steve Whitmore tells TMZ.com a person inside the property accused someone else present of a physical assault on Monday afternoon.
