Olivia Munn only eats organic

Actress Olivia Munn has learned how to make her own almond milk after deciding to only eat organic foods.

The Magic Mike star had to adopt a healthy diet and fitness regime as she underwent training for her role as mutant superhero Psylocke in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, and the intense workouts helped her drop 12 pounds (5.4 kilograms) and tone up her body.

"When I started on X-Men, I had been training and doing regular personal training and trying to eat in a healthy way," Olivia told Women's Health magazine. "My intention was to just get as fit and as healthy as I could be, for myself...

"I started working out every single day, and then I also started getting into eating 20-80, where 80 per cent of your diet is fruits and vegetables and 20 per cent is whatever. So, that can be any kind of meats or breads or anything else, but mostly fruits and vegetables."

The diet is the same program followed by supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her NFL star husband Tom Brady, and although Olivia is no longer on the exact same diet, she has chosen to continue buying organic.

"The thing that I've kept up since X-Men is eating organically," she explained. "That's been a big part of, I think, feeling healthy, feeling fit, feeling clear. Knowing that you're putting only clean foods into your body, that's been a really important thing for me."

The 35-year-old has also started processing her own almond milk after being taught how to by her personal trainer.

"It'll last me two or three days," Olivia continued. "I use that to make organic smoothies every morning."

The actress, who is dating her own footballer beau, Aaron Rodgers, previously revealed she has also kept up with her martial arts training and sword play from the film, because she loved the confidence her fight clubs gave her.

"I still do taekwondo (martial art form) and I have a sword closet at home," she told E! News in February (16). "It's really a great exercise for me to do."
