Nicole Scherzinger linked to tennis star

Pop star Nicole Scherzinger is rumoured to be enjoying a new romance with tennis ace Grigor Dimitrov.

The singer, 37, has been single since her on/off relationship with Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton ended for good earlier this year (15), and new reports have now linked her to another sportsman, Bulgarian tennis star Grigor, 24.

"Nicole is dating Grigor," an insider tells Britain's The Sun newspaper. "They're completely besotted with each other. But they've been careful not to be pictured together because they don't want the pressure of the relationship being in the public eye."

The news comes as quite a surprise as Nicole was rumoured to be rekindling things with Lewis after the pair were spotted enjoying an evening out at the same nightclub earlier in November (15).

Grigor is also getting over the end of a high-profile romance, as his relationship with his fellow tennis star Maria Sharapova finished in July (15) after two years.

At the time, he insisted there was no bad blood between them as they "experienced wonderful moments together", explaining they simply wanted different things.

Representatives for Nicole and Grigor have yet to comment on the report.

Grigor is not the first man Nicole has been linked to this year (15) - she was also rumoured to be romancing British singer Ed Sheeran. As quickly as they were linked came reports they had separated though, with the former Pussycat Dolls star showing her sense of humour by posting a video of herself singing his track Thinking Out Loud on Instagram along with the caption: "TotesEmosh (totally emotional) that (Ed) and I broke up today #OrangeIsntTheNewBlackAnymore #ScherzyLosesItAfterSheeranBreakUp #NoMoreSheerzinger (sic)."
