Nicki Minaj and Drake embroiled in Lil Wayne's Cash Money lawsuit
Rapper Lil Wayne has involved Nicki Minaj, Drake and Tyga in his legal battle with record label boss Bryan 'Birdman' Williams.
The Lollipop hitmaker launched a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money bosses Bryan 'Birdman' Williams and Ronald 'Slim' Williams in January (15), accusing them of withholding money he was owed for his album Tha Carter V.
Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., has filed new documents
claiming artists on his Young Money label, an imprint of Cash
Money, also suffered non-payment issues.
In the legal papers, Wayne claims he has a letter from Drake and
Tyga's team alleging the rappers are also owed money, and another
from Minaj's representatives claiming her producers were
shortchanged for their work.
Wayne also accuses Williams and his brother of keeping a $100
million advance which was supposed to be given to the Young Money
label.
The Williams siblings have denied the allegations, according to
TMZ.com.
