Nick Gordon 'desperately' trying to visit Bobbi Kristina Brown

Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon is "desperately" trying to visit Whitney Houston's daughter as she remains in a coma after her family reportedly asked him not to see her.

Gordon found the R&B star's only daughter with ex-husband Bobby Brown face down in the bathtub at their Roswell, Georgia home late last month (Jan15), and she has been in a medically-induced coma ever since.

While Bobby Brown and the Houston family have stayed by Bobbi Kristina's side at Atlanta, Georgia's Emery University Hospital, Gordon has confirmed reports he has been barred from visiting his longtime love.

On Wednesday (18Feb15), a statement issued by Gordon's attorney Russell M. Kessler reads: "Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively. He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation.

"But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."

Gordon recently paid tribute to Brown by having her name tattooed on his forearm.

Meanwhile, officials at the Roswell Police Department in Georgia have confirmed the case involving Brown's bathtub incident is a criminal investigation.
