Nick Cannon wears $2 million shoes

America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon wore a pair of diamond encrusted loafers worth $2 million for the show's finale on Wednesday (17Sept14).

The presenter showed off the $2 million footwear on in a picture posted on Women's Wear Daily's Instagram page ahead of the reality TV installment, writing, "A million each foot... Pow!"

The shoes hold more than 14,000 full-cut diamonds set in white gold with a weight of 340 carats and were created by Jason Arashenen.

The designer reveals Cannon approached him about the special project in 2013, saying, "Not very often do I get a request for the most expensive shoes in the world. When Nick approached me last year, he said he wanted to make history and be so over-the-top. He wanted to set a new standard in diamonds."

The pricey shoes are being considered by Guinness Book of World Records officials to be listed as the Most Valuable Pair of Shoes in the world.

Cannon split from his superstar wife Mariah Carey last month (Sep14).
