New Kids scrap Canadian show
New Kids On The Block were forced to scrap a show in Canada on Tuesday (04Jun13) night following a border wrangle.
Trucks carrying the band's gear for a scheduled concert in Ottawa were held up at the Canadian border on Tuesday morning, leaving crew members no time to set up the production equipment.
The show, which also features 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men, will now
take place on Wednesday night (05Jun13), according to a post on the
boy band's website.
A statement from tour organisers reads: "The Package Tour was
unfortunately delayed at the Canadian border earlier today and as a
result has impacted the time required for the shows production and
crew to prepare for tonight's concert in Ottawa.
"As a result, The Package Tour featuring New Kids On The Block, 98
Degrees and Boyz II Men have rescheduled their Ottawa performance
tonight to Wednesday, June 5 at Scotiabank Place (sic)."
