Miley Cyrus upsets fans with Big Bang Theory concept
Miley Cyrus has taken aim at her most outspoken and religious Twitter.com followers after they sent her hateful tweets for suggesting she was a fan of the Big Bang Theory.
The Climb singer posted a photo with a quote from physicist Lawrence Krauss online last week (ends03Mar12).
The note read, "You are all stardust. You couldn't be here if stars
hadn't exploded, because the elements (carbon, nitrogen, oxygen,
all the things that matter for evolution) weren't created at the
beginning of time. They were created in stars. So forget Jesus.
Stars died so you can live."
The tweet upset some followers who believe God created the earth -
and many jumped on Twitter.com to reprimand the pop star.
Cyrus has since responded, "How can people take the love out of
science and bring hate into religion so easily?
"It makes me sad to think the world is this way. Like Einstein
says, 'Science without religion is lame. Religion without science
is blind.'"
