Migos working on first film script

Rappers Migos are planning to branch out into Hollywood by writing their own movie.

The Bad and Boujee hitmakers are expected to release their third studio album, Culture 2, in the coming weeks, but the hip-hop stars are already planning their next project.

"My boy Quavo writing the scripts," Offset told Beats 1 DJ Zane Lowe. "He been in that kitchen trying to whip up (come up with ideas)."

Quavo, 26, explained he was drawing inspiration from the hip-hop gangster dramas he admired as a teen.

"I'm a '90s (kid) and all my favorite movies got the dope artists in them," he said. "Juice, Menace II Society, all the Snoop Dogg movies, Master P movies, Big Tymers movies. That's what we're doing right now; we're looking into the script."

Making the move into Hollywood won't be too much of a stretch for the rap trio - they made their TV acting debuts on rapper/actor Donald Glover's Atlanta drama series last year (16).
