Michael Jackson's daughter speaks out in grandmother's documentary
Michael Jackson's daughter Paris detailed her grief over her father's death in a documentary made by her grandmother just weeks before the teen's reported suicide attempt.
Katherine Jackson has made a film called Remembering Michael as a tribute to the late Thriller hitmaker, and the footage features interviews with all three of his children, Paris, 15, Prince, 16, and Blanket, 11.
Paris reportedly filmed her scenes just weeks before she was
hospitalised in June (13) following a reported suicide attempt, and
she gave an insight into her struggle after her father's passing in
2009.
She revealed her dad never fulfilled a promise to teach her his
most famous dance move, saying, "He promised he would teach me how
to moonwalk but never got around to it. I really hope his legacy
lives on forever. I will never forget him ever. He was
amazing."
Jackson's youngest son, Blanket, who rarely speaks out, also
details his memories, while Prince claims he didn't find out the
singer's real name until he turned six: "He (Jackson) never really
wanted to tell us who he is as a person. It took me until I was six
years old to learn his name was Michael Jackson - he was always
daddy to me and that was it."
Katherine Jackson funded the new film project through crowdsourcing
website Fundanything.com. The documentary, which is unfinished, has
a fundraising target of more than $3 million.
