Melanie Brown's daughter hospitalised after severe nose bleed
Melanie Brown's daughter was taken to hospital on Wednesday (15Jan14) with a mystery illness.
The former Spice Girls singer's middle child, Angel, whose father is comic Eddie Murphy, suffered a severe nose bleed at the family's home in Los Angeles and was rushed to a nearby hospital to be checked by doctors.
Brown reveals the six year old underwent a battery of tests, but
physicians don't yet know what caused the bleed.
Speaking to her co-hosts on her morning Australian radio show,
which she hosts from L.A., Brown explains, "This morning's been a
little bit crazy because my six year old, Angel, was feeling not
very well yesterday, she was a little bit dizzy and had her first
nose bleed, so I kept her off school.
"And then this morning she woke up feeling completely disoriented,
and blood was just funnelling out of her nose like no tomorrow. So
I rushed her to the emergency room, I just literally left there
like half an hour ago. She had a blood test, a heart murmur thing
on... poor little thing!
"(The doctors) don't know (what's wrong with Angel), they've just
done a bunch of blood tests so we're just waiting for that stuff to
come back. But they're thinking it's either some kind of a heart
murmur or a vessel infection or sinus infection. A lot is going
on!"
