Meghan Trainor forced to cancel more gigs following vocal hemorrhage
Pop star Meghan Trainor has pulled out of a further string of U.S. tour dates after she broke the news last week (ends05Jul15) that she has been diagnosed with a vocal hemorrhage.
The All About That Bass hitmaker took to Instagram.com to explain to fans that she was canceling a performance at Michigan's Common Ground Music Festival, which kicks off on Tuesday (07Jul15), as well as two dates in Detroit, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois.
Trainor uploaded a video showing a meeting with her doctor where
she is informed that she must cancel her forthcoming shows.
Despite the cancellations the singer assured fans she was returning
to health and would soon be ready to storm the stage.
She added the caption, "I have bad news, my doctor says I have to
postpone two more dates, Detroit & Chicago and sadly I have to
cancel my appearance at the Common Ground Music Festival.
"But there is good news!! I'm feeling much better, have already
rescheduled most dates and will come back around to see you all
soon!... Thank you Dr. Kessler for seeing me immediately and being
so helpful and thank you guys for all the edits/get well posts you
made. You made me feel a lot better about this crappy situation. I
love you all so much!!"
The singer's health woes come after British crooner Sam Smith
underwent surgery for a similar condition earlier this year
(15).
