McCartney hosts second wedding reception in New York

Sir Paul McCartney celebrated his marriage to Nancy Shevell again by throwing a second reception in New York on Friday night (21Oct11).

The Beatles legend married the heiress in London on 9 October (11) and threw a star-studded party in a marquee outside his home in the city.

The newlyweds subsequently jetted off to the Caribbean to enjoy a honeymoon at Sir Mick Jagger's villa in Mustique, and then returned to New York, where they hosted a second wedding reception at the Bowery Hotel in Manhattan on Friday.

Guests at the lavish bash included John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono and son Sean, as well as Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Elvis Costello and Hollywood actor Steve Buscemi, according to Britain's Sunday Telegraph newspaper.
