Mark Wahlberg cusses at MTV Movie Awards heckler

Written by . Published: June 04 2012

Mark Wahlberg cursed at a member of the audience during the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (03Jun12) after the man heckled the actor's co-presenter Mila Kunis just moments into the show.

The Fighter star and Kunis were the first guest presenters to step onstage at the Los Angeles event to read out the nominations for the inaugural Best On-Screen Dirtbag award, the first prize of the night, but the Black Swan beauty was rudely interrupted as a man in the audience shouted at the actress, prompting her to halt her lines in disbelief.

The jeers were inaudible for many in the Gibson Amphitheatre and for viewers at home, and Wahlberg was just as baffled as he asked, "Excuse me, what did he say?"

Kunis brushed off the incident and encouraged Wahlberg to continue with their presenting duties, responding, "Doesn't matter, go 'head."

However, Wahlberg refused to let the insult go so easily and defended Kunis' honour by calling out the suspect - although his exact words were bleeped out by censors.

He then quipped, "And here I thought I was gonna have to slap Russell (Brand, host). Wow."
