French actress Marion Cotillard was left stranded in Detroit, Michigan without any luggage this week (ends11Nov12) when a snow storm grounded her flight to New York.

The Oscar-winner was due to travel to America's East Coast for the premiere of her new movie Rust and Bone, but her flight on Wednesday (07Nov12) was cancelled after bad weather hit the Big Apple.

Cotillard was left stranded in Detroit and her misery was compounded when she realized the airline had lost her luggage, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

The star eventually made the journey in time to walk the red carpet for the screening at the Sunshine Cinema in Manhattan, but her co-star Matthias Schoenaerts and director Jacques Audiard both missed the premiere due to similar travel problems.
