Mariah Carey struggling with nerve damage

Mariah Carey is struggling with nerve damage after dislocating her shoulder on a video shoot earlier this month (Jul13).

The star was hospitalised in New York after she dislocated her shoulder and cracked a rib while shooting a promo, and she has since continued with her performing commitments by appearing on stage with her arm in a sling.

Carey's husband, Nick Cannon, has now revealed the singer can barely move her arm at all as she suffered nerve damage, and doctors have ordered her to rest up.

He tells Toofab.com, "She's doing a lot better, but she still doesn't have movement in her right arm, there's nerve damage. Her shoulder is definitely a lot better, back in place, but she also had some cracked ribs. She can't move. The fact that she doesn't have use of her right arm right now has been pretty tough on her, but the doctor said with a lot more rest and relaxation she'll be fine."
