Mariah Carey in lip-sync storm

Mariah Carey has come under fire from fans after the publication of a video which appears to show her lip-syncing badly during a show in Jamaica.

The pop superstar performed at the 2015 Jazz And Blues Festival in the country on Friday (30Jan15), and footage of Carey miming along to her hit Fantasy emerged online over the weekend (31Jan-01Feb15).

Since the video's publication, it has become a major talking point on social media, with many fans accusing Carey of letting the audience down by lip-syncing badly to a backing track, forgetting the lyrics, and failing to keep in time.

Several fans also cast doubt on Carey's upcoming residency in Las Vegas, and urged the singer to take a break instead of signing up for more work.

Carey has yet to respond to the online criticism, which has been mounting over the last few days.
