Madonna dresses up as Game of Thrones queen for Purim

Madonna celebrated Purim by dressing up as Emilia Clarke's Game Of Thrones character Daernerys Targaryen on Saturday (15Mar14)

The pop superstar posted a shot of herself in costume as the white-haired dragon queen online as she prepared to celebrate the Jewish family holiday.

Before guests started arriving at her annual Purim party, she wrote, "Happy Purim!!!!! All Hail All Queens!"

Madonna made sure her costume would be the talking point at the party and on the web by sporting a platinum blonde wig complete with Targaryen's signature braids, and she attached two small dragon figurines to each shoulder of her corseted dress.

Catholic-born Madonna has been following the Kabbalah teachings of ancient Judaism since the early 1990s.
