Louis Tomlinson's baby mother hits back at the trolls
The mother of pop star Louis Tomlinson's young son has fired back at Twitter trolls who have taken aim at her amid the couple's custody battle.
Briana Jungwirth, 23, gave birth to the former couple's son Freddie Reign in January (16), and it appears she has tired of the "hateful and inappropriate'' comments about herself and her son on social media.
Asking people to respect her and her family's right to privacy, she
posted a note on social media over the weekend (ends03Jul16),
stating, "To all those who feel the need to make disparaging,
hateful and inappropriate comments concerning me and my son Freddie
- I am sincerely sorry that you all have chosen to focus your time
and attention on my life and the life of my son.
"Surely you must have better things to do than pry into the
personal life of a single mom and newborn child. I am a proud new
mother that is extremely joyous about my child being in this world
and have shared that joy with my friends and family on a daily
basis - often times through social media.
"However, that does not give anyone the right, or the invitation to
be nasty and disparaging toward me. So, please stop prying into the
private and personal facts of my life and my son's life in order to
weave stories and peak public interest."
She added, "The things that you discuss, and the sources that you
rely on are extremely off base and unreliable. More importantly,
every mature and experienced adult should know that there is always
more to a story than what meets the eye - especially involving
matters of the heart."
Briana concluded her missive by urging the trolls to "find it in
your hearts to discontinue the overwhelmingly inappropriate
comments about me, my family, and most importantly, my son
Freddie."
Meanwhile, One Direction star Louis addressed the ongoing drama
between himself and his ex last week (ends01Jul16), after
reportedly filing a family court case against Briana in a bid to
seek joint legal and physical custody of the boy.
Tomlinson's representative issued a statement, in which he
requested all members of the media respect his privacy, so he can
provide baby Freddie with "a normal, private and protected
childhood".
The spokesperson claimed Louis insisted the amount of paparazzi
attention on Freddie has reached an "intolerable and completely
unjustifiable" peak, prompting security concerns. He urged the
press to back off because he is afraid the spotlight on his
personal affairs had infringed upon his visitation time with his
son.
"Louis appreciates, respects and values his relationship with the
media and we hope he and his son are afforded the same respect on
this matter," the rep stressed in the statement.
Meanwhile, it appears there are other issues that have prompted
Louis to resolve his custody feud with Briana.
Louis started dating 21-year-old Danielle Campbell weeks before his
ex gave birth, and Briana's cousin Ashley Jessica recently revealed
his new relationship with the model has created tension with his
baby's mother and her family.
"Yes, it did hurt us, but life is life," she said. "I mean,
feelings are feelings and you can't help that. You love who you
love - it's just bad timing."
