Lohan fires back legal response to Betty Ford Center staffer
Lindsay Lohan has hit back at claims she assaulted a Betty Ford Center staff member in 2010, filing a legal response to absolve her of any wrongdoing.
Former employee Dawn Bradley accused the Mean Girls star of grabbing her wrist and twisting it when she tried the give the actress - then a patient at the rehab facility - a breathalyser test in December, 2010.
Bradley launched a $1 million legal battle against the actress back
in August (11), claiming she suffered "great mental, physical and
nervous pain and suffering" from the alleged assault.
Lohan was served the lawsuit in October (11) and she's now fired
back at the allegations, claiming she was provoked and thus acted
out in self-defense.
The star's attorneys filed the legal response on her behalf at
California's Riverside Country Superior Court on 10 January (12)
and according to TMZ.com, Lohan is requesting that Bradley cover
her legal fees.
