Lindsay Lohan spoofs Wayne's World in TV sketch

Lindsay Lohan returned to late night TV on Thursday (26Sep13) to show off her comedy skills by joining funnyman Jimmy Fallon for an hilarious Wayne's World spoof.

The actress, who has been lying low since completing court-ordered rehab last month (Aug13), made a surprise appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in a pre-taped skit poking fun at Mike Myers and Dana Carvey's classic wacky teen characters, which were first developed in 1987 for sketch show Saturday Night Live (SNL), on which they were both regulars.

In the Late Night take on the comedy segment, Lohan and Fallon dressed up as young girls in a fake TeenNick show called Ew and mocked Miley Cyrus by showing off their own twerking-style dance moves, while they also joked about the One Direction: This is Us movie.

In the spoof, Fallon said, "Did you see the new Miley Cyrus video? We should do some twerking!", to which the Mean Girls star replied, "Ew! No, twerking is so 2-0-1-3. Nowadays, it's all about (made-up dance) scrumping!"

Myers and Carvey's SNL sketches, about two teens who front an Illinois-based talk show, spawned their hit film Wayne's World in 1992, followed by a sequel in 1993.
