Lindsay Lohan hints at new jewelry line
Lindsay Lohan is gearing up to launch a jewelry line.
The actress and sometimes designer is no stranger to the style world, having previously served as artistic advisor for French label Emanuel Ungaro, creating her own line for Lavish Alice and designing a clothes range titled 6126.
Now editors at the New York Post's gossip column Page Six report she’s turning her hand to jewelry, and has been teasing details on her Instagram page.
Uploading several snaps of herself posing on a yacht recently, the flame-haired star used the caption #LohanJewelry. The only accessories that can be seen are a hoop earring worn at the top of her left ear and a thin chained necklace.
Her representative commented to the website that “Something is in the works”, but refused to go into more detail.
Lindsay has already had one failed attempt at launching her own jewelry designs, when in 2011 a collaboration with Pascal Mouawad fell through.
Talking about her Lavish Alice collection in 2015, the Mean Girls star told Britain’s Heat magazine that the range was a dream come true.
"There's lots of tailoring and short hemlines - my signature style. It was important for me to try everything on to make sure it fully represented my own style. I loved the process - it's every girl's dream to design a clothing range,” she grinned.
And after two years away from the screen, 30-year-old Lindsay will soon be making a comeback in horror The Shadow Within. Model Tyra Banks has also revealed the controversial star may return to the Life-Size franchise, 17 years after the original Disney movie was released.
