Lily Rose Cooper offers to slaughter a pig for charity cash

Singer Lily Rose Cooper is offering to slaughter one of her pigs in the name of charity.

The Smile singer, aka Lily Allen, is among the celebrities attempting to raise cash for Britain's Comic Relief charity and she has come up with a novel way of increasing donations.

In a tweet on Tuesday (05Mar13) she wrote, "I will name one of my pigs after you and send you the sausages and bacon from it when I kill it.

"Or if you're a vegetarian you can choose to spare the pig... JOIN MY TEAM!!!!"

The star, who lives on a farm, is one of many U.K. stars hoping to raise cash as a #twittermillion team leader - singer Olly Murs and former Spice Girls star Melanie Chisholm are also fighting for fans' charity cash.
