Liam Payne still regrets posting pal Niall Horan's car registration plate online

Liam Payne wrecked bandmate Niall Horan's anonymity when he posted a shot of the singer's new car online.

The pop star thought it would be fun to wrap toilet paper all over his pal's new motor, place garden furniture on the roof and post a shot on Instagram, while Niall was recording his part for a One Direction track - but he forgot to blur out the registration plate.

Admitting he immediately regretted his decision during a recent appearance on YouTube's Hot Ones podcast, Liam told host Sean Evans, "All the fans could track his car. No matter what we did to the car, the worst part was that little simple white box in the middle (registration plate)... He was tracked for days. He's still being tracked now."
