Lana Del Rey shoots Biblical film

Lana Del Rey has taken on the role of Biblical character Eve in a bizarre new short film which brings Elvis Presley, John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe and Jesus Christ together in the Garden of Eden.

The singer has made the 30-minute movie, Tropico, to promote a new EP of the same name and an extended version of her album Born To Die.

Del Rey plays Eve in a kooky adaptation of the Biblical story of sin and redemption, which is set to songs including Gods And Monsters and Body Electric, and features a Jesus character preaching while actors dressed as Monroe, Presley and Wayne dance.
