Lana Del Rey canceled recording session with Brian Wilson
Lana Del Rey changed her mind about recording with Brian Wilson and canceled her session with the Beach Boys legend.
The Summertime Sadness singer was among the stars scheduled to appear on Wilson's new album, No Pier Pressure, and fans of both stars were surprised when their collaboration, Last Song, failed to make the cut.
Now Wilson reveals he didn't scrap the track, as has been reported
- it was never recorded.
The Beach Boys star tells Vulture.com, "She just canceled out on
us."
Wilson scrapped another collaboration with Frank Ocean when the
R&B star made it clear he didn't want to sing on the track he
was billed to perform on.
The Good Vibrations singer adds, "He wanted to do rap, so we
canceled him."
There are still plenty of stars on Wilson's new album - he also
recorded tunes with fun. singer Nate Ruess, Zooey Deschanel and
Kasey Musgraves.
