Lady Gaga walks runway to introduce Philip Treacy
Pop superstar Lady Gaga took to the runway for London Fashion Week on Sunday (16Sep12) to introduce headwear designer Philip Treacy ahead of a show featuring outfits worn by Michael Jackson.
Models strutted down the catwalk wearing costumes from the King of Pop's own stage wardrobe, including the original red jacket from his Thriller video, paired with pieces from Treacy's new collection.
Runway beauty Alex Wek served up one of the show's highlights when
she modeled a single jewel-encrusted white glove and showed off a
hat in the shape of a gloved hand.
The Poker Face hitmaker stepped into the spotlight wearing sheer
pink netting with fabric covering her face and raised her arms as
she announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest milliner in the
world, Philip Treacy."
Gaga's pink netting wasn't the only odd fashion choice she
displayed on Sunday - she wore a helmet-like hat made of flowers as
she made her way to the Treacy show.
The Jackson outfits were on loan to the designer ahead of an
auction in California in December (12).
