Lady Gaga launches poster contest

Lady Gaga is asking fans to imagine a brave new world as part of an art contest for her Born This Way Foundation (BTWF).

The singer wants budding young artists to create posters inspired by the theme of bravery for her newly launched charity, which aims to stamp out bullying and encourage a more accepting society.

Gaga's mum and BTWF co-founder Cynthia Germanotta says, "We are calling on anyone and everyone with the ability to think creatively to come up with a visual representation for the Born This Way Foundation. Most of all, it should give supporters a way to show their dedication to the Foundation."

Lady Gaga and her mum will select their 10 favourite submissions to be semi-finalists and the public will determine the winner in an online vote.

The first prize winner will have their image autographed by Lady Gaga and displayed on the BTWF website.
