Kylie Jenner's cosmetics firm racks up customer complaints
Bosses behind Kylie Jenner's make-up line have been slapped with an F grade by officials at the Better Business Bureau after racking up a slew of customer complaints.
Kim Kardashian's younger sister launched Kylie Cosmetics late last year (15), and her Kylie Lip Kit products have proved to be hugely popular with fans, constantly selling out online.
However, despite the high level of sales, the Keeping Up With the
Kardashians regular has reportedly left some consumers disappointed
with the quality of customer service after representatives
reportedly failed to respond to various complaints, ranging from
security breaches to missing packages, according to TMZ.com.
The 137 customer grievances filed with the Better Business Bureau
(BBB) in its nine months of operation has prompted consumer
watchdog chiefs to give Kylie Cosmetics a 'failed' rating - the
lowest grade available.
Reports suggest BBB officials contacted company executives about
the consumer problems last month (Jun16), but the issues have yet
to be fixed as a further 10 people have filed fresh complaints
about service or delivery in the past week.
Kylie has yet to comment on the news, which emerges after the
reality TV star spent the Independence Day holiday weekend
(02-04Jul16) flaunting her rekindled relationship with rapper Tyga
on social media.
The young couple split in May (16) but sparked rumors of a reunion
last month (Jun16), when Tyga posted a picture on Instagram of the
18-year-old beauty sitting on his bed, with the caption, "They
always come back..."
Kylie has since used her Snapchat account to document their latest
rendezvous, sharing a brief video of herself cuddling with Tyga as
his music played in the background on Monday, while another image
posted online showed the hip-hop star planting a big kiss on her
cheek.
