Kunis is belle of the Marine Corps ball

Mila Kunis kept her promise to attend a Marine Corps ball on Friday (18Nov11) with a soldier who asked the star to be his date via video-sharing website YouTube.

The actress was the first of several celebrities who were invited to military events via video messages earlier this year (11), and she immediately accepted Sergeant Scott Moore's offer.

Kunis attended the party in Greenville, North Carolina on Friday and dressed up in a formal black gown.

The Black Swan star was photographed chatting happily to her date and fellow guests at her table, as well as standing with her hand over her heart as the national anthem was played.

Kunis' Friends With Benefits co-star Justin Timberlake also attended a Marine Corps ball last weekend (12Nov11) after being invited by Corporal Kelsey de Santis. He subsequently insisted the night was "one of the most moving evenings" of his life.
