Kristen Stewart ropes in girlfriend St. Vincent to score directorial debut
Kristen Stewart has roped in rumored girlfriend St. Vincent to compose the score for her first film as a director.
The Twilight star, 26, and the 34-year-old indie musician have been seen together regularly in recent months, even making a public appearance together in October (16) on the red carpet at a West Hollywood fashion event.
St. Vincent, who previously dated supermodel Cara Delevingne, 24,
revealed she has been helping Kristen with her directorial debut
Come Swim, a short which will premiere at next year's (17) Sundance
Film Festival.
The Digital Witness singer wrote on Twitter, "I composed the
soundtrack for Kristen Stewart's new short film Come Swim, which is
also premiering at Sundance!"
Come Swim, which Kristen also wrote, was created as part of media
company Refinery29's Shatterbox Anthology, a series of 12 shorts by
female filmmakers.
It will premiere as part of Sundance's U.S. narrative short film
program, with the Park City, Utah festival's website listing the
short film, as a, "diptych of one man's day, half impressionist and
half realist portraits."
The Sundance Film Festival will run from 19 to 29 January (17).
