Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard are hottest veggies

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have been named the hottest vegetarian celebrities.

Bell and Shepard, who had their first child earlier this year (Mar13), were named the winners of the male and female categories of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals' (PETA) annual Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity contest on Wednesday (26Jun13).

Bell saw off competition from screen beauties including Anne Hathaway and Edie Falco to win the title, and her partner triumphed over rivals including former President Bill Clinton.

Speaking of her reasons to quit eating meat, Bell says, "I had a hard time disassociating the animals I cuddled with - dogs and cats, for example - from the animals on my plate, and I never really cared for the taste of meat."
