Kirsten Dunst dating TV co-star Jesse Plemons
Actress Kirsten Dunst has struck up a new romance with her Fargo co-star Jesse Plemons.
The Spider-Man star, 34, was recently reported to have split from her boyfriend of four years, Garrett Hedlund, and it appears she has already moved on.
On Sunday (29May16), Kirsten was photographed enjoying a lunch date
with Jesse, and snaps of the pair kissing, obtained by
JustJared.com, suggest the actors' onscreen chemistry has since
spilled over into real life.
Jesse and Kirsten portrayed husband and wife Ed and Peggy Blumquist
on the second season of the hit TV crime drama, in which they cover
up their hit-and-run murder of a local mobster.
The Breaking Bad actor previously insisted it was a pleasure
working with Kirsten, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her
performance.
"It was a gift," he said during a panel interview for Fargo at the
2015 PaleyFest New York in October (15). "I loved Kristen's work
for a long time, and I was really excited once I'd met her, and
she's a great person, and we're both actors that just... have fun
with the material."
The stars have yet to comment on the images of their apparent
romance, which emerge weeks after Kirsten parted ways with Garrett
in April (16).
The actress met the TRON: Legacy star on the set of the film
adaptation for Jack Kerouac's On the Road in 2011, and in an
interview published in March (16), Kirsten claimed their
relationship was going from strength to strength.
"I feel like we're good at doing our own thing but also at coming
together," she told Britain's InStyle magazine of her partnership
with Garrett. "In other relationships... Just we were too enmeshed.
We had to do everything together.
"I see reflected in him what I see in myself a sensitivity and
someone who's family-oriented. Look. All I can say is it's my
longest relationship, so it's working, right?"
In the feature, Kirsten even suggested she could see the pair
marrying in a low-key ceremony.
"I am someone who wants to get married...," the 34-year-old smiled.
"If it happens in my mid-to-late 30s, it's going to be intimate.
Courthouse, dinner party and DJ with friends and family. I'll treat
it like it would be my fortieth birthday."
