Kings of Leon fans warned about measles
Health bosses in Washington are warning Kings Of Leon fans who attended the band's gig in Seattle last week (28Mar14) to visit their doctor if they start feeling unwell after learning that one concertgoer may have brought measles to the Key Arena.
The female fan was infected just days before the gig but felt well enough to attend, and now Washington State Department of Health officials fear she may have passed on the contagious disease to others.
A report reads: "Most people in our state are immune to measles, so
the public risk is low except for people who are unvaccinated.
People who haven't been vaccinated or aren't sure if they're immune
should ask a health care professional for advice."
The health bosses have urged gig-goers who develop a fever or rash
to make an immediate appointment with a health care
professional.
