Kim Kardashian sits for deposition in ongoing divorce battle

Kim Kardashian sat for a deposition in Los Angeles on Tuesday (19Mar13) as part of her long-running divorce battle with estranged husband Kris Humphries.

The socialite, who is pregnant with her rapper boyfriend Kanye West's baby, testified under oath that she really did love the basketball player when she accepted his marriage proposal and exchanged vows with him in August 2011.

Kardashian has been locked in a legal wrangle with Humphries ever since she filed to end their 72-day marriage in October 2011, with the sportsman alleging she used their televised nuptials to boost her ratings and earnings.

During the nine-hour meeting, Kardashian also swore her reality TV series played no part in her decision to walk down the aisle.

Humphries, whose lawyers are aiming for an annulment, did not attend the deposition, held in the offices of Kardashian's attorney Laura Wasser.

A trial date has been set for 6 May (13), reports TMZ.com.
