Lady Gaga eyes return to work
Lady Gaga is "ready to get back to work" a month after undergoing hip surgery, according to her manager.
The Poker Face star was forced to cancel the remaining dates on her Born This Way Ball world tour last month (Feb13) after sustaining a labral tear of the right hip, and doctors also diagnosed her with a painful condition called synovitis, a severe inflammation of the joints.
She underwent an operation on her hip on 20 February (13), and her
manager Vincent Herbert has now spoken out to assure fans the
singer is nearing the end of her recovery period, telling the
Associated Press, "(She is) doing wonderful, doing great... (She
is) ready to get back to work."
Herbert reveals the pop star is keen to finish off her new album
Artpop, which is due for release later this year (13).
He adds, "I can't wait for the world to hear her new music and see
her come back healthy, strong and better than ever."
