Kim Kardashian is sleeping next to husband Kanye West in hospital - report
Kim Kardashian has reportedly been staying at the Los Angeles hospital where her husband Kanye West is receiving treatment for exhaustion.
The rapper was taken to the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center (UCLA) last Monday (21Nov16) after his allegedly erratic behavior led to fears for his health. Kanye has been under the care of medical staff since then, but his reality star wife has apparently been a vital part of her husband's battle to return to full health.
"Kim has been amazing," a source close to the musician told Us
Weekly magazine. "She knew he couldn't keep going the way he was.
She has been by his side through all of this, helping to feed him
and laying by his side."
Kanye's hospitalization meant he was away from the family home for
the recent Thanksgiving holiday. But even Kim opted against leaving
the medical center to mark the occasion, apart from briefly seeing
the pair's children North, three, and 11-month-old Saint.
"Kim wouldn't leave his side except to see the kids," the source
added. "She's been at the hospital all the time. Kim has been
keeping a very close watch on him and not letting people disturb
him. All kinds of people have called and sent flowers, but she's
being very careful about not letting him get wound up and making
sure he rests and recovers."
One visitor Kanye had over the weekend was his father Ray West.
Gossip website X17Online reported that Ray arrived in Los Angeles
last week after flying in from his home in Maryland, and was seen
arriving at the hospital on Saturday to see his son.
"Kanye's dad wanted to be here. He wanted to tell his son to be
strong and to keep going for his family," a source told the
outlet.
Ray was married to Kanye's late mother, University professor,
Donda, but the pair divorced when the rapper was just three years
old. After that, Kanye saw his dad only in the summers, but the
pair was still on good terms. The musician documented their
relationship in track Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1 from his latest
album The Life of Pablo.
