Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gift fan rapper's sneakers

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are giving a fan a pair of the rapper's own shoes to compensate for the Yeezy Boost 750 selling out.

The Gold Digger star's latest shoe, the Yeezy Boost 750, from his highly popular sneaker range with Adidas, was due to be released on Saturday (11Jun16). Customers were able to reserve a pair on Wednesday (08Jun16) using a new Adidas app, but they immediately sold out.

Joe Berg, who tried getting his hands on the Boosts, tweeted a screen grab of the app informing him they were no longer available, and in the caption, he wrote, "SON ITS GONE IN 13 SECONDS."

His tweet caught the attention of Kim, who showed husband Kanye, and they decided to help Joe find a pair of the grey shoes. She got in touch on Twitter, writing, "What size shoe are you? I showed Kanye your tweets and he wants you to have a pair."

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?," Joe responded. "Size 12. No stop. This can't be a joke. I gotta be dreaming right now. THANK YOU... size 12! Please and thank you omg (oh my God)... you're the greatest person in the world."

The couple tried to get Joe the shoes but found that there were no Boosts left in his size, and rather than disappoint him with the information, they offered to give him a pair of Kanye's own shoes instead.

"Bad news is we don't have any more 12's but the good news is that's Kanye's size so he said you can have one of his (sic)," Kim tweeted, to which Joe replied, "Kim I love you. You're amazing. I can't thank you enough for this."

This isn't the first time Kim has helped a fan get hold of a pair of the coveted shoes. One Twitter user called the sneakers "f**king gorgeous" and she replied, "Well today might be your lucky day... What size are you?" Within four days he had received a pair.
