Kendrick Lamar teases Nike signature sneaker

Rapper Kendrick Lamar has given fans a preview of his rumored sneaker collaboration with bosses at sports giant Nike.
The DAMN. hitmaker shared a snap of a red and white version of Nike's classic Cortez style on Instagram this week (begs18Dec17), with the words "DON'T TRIP" in white font adorning a black shoelace tag.
The shoe also featured three Chinese characters near the toe of the design.
He captioned the picture, "DON'T TRIP. CORTEZ KENNY," referencing his alter ego Kung Fu Kenny.
Kendrick didn't share any further information about the design, which is expected to be his first signature shoe for Nike after reportedly becoming a brand ambassador in August (17).
He previously created a sneaker for rival company Reebok in 2014.
