Kelly Osbourne saves abused pooch

Kelly Osbourne has welcomed another addition to her famous family - she saved a rescue dog just hours after her brother Jack became a first-time dad.

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne's only son welcomed a daughter, reportedly named Pearl, with his fiancee Lisa Stelly earlier this week (begs23Apr12).

His sister Kelly announced the news on Twitter on Tuesday (24Apr12), and went on to reveal she had rescued a poor pooch who had been caged by its former owners.

She writes, "I got a new dog that i rescued she's a pom that was pretty much kept in a cadge (sic) for the past year! i cant wait to meet her & make her happy! She will be the greatest love story of all time."

And the mix of becoming an aunt and adopting a new dog was too much for the star, who added: "Today has been one of the most amazing days of my life!"
